6th Graders will be creating drawings using the techniques of one point perspective.
Project Options: -Cityscape -Landscape of a town -Landscape of the country or farm -Landscape of a home
Days Needed: 4 class days
LEARNING TARGETS: -I can transform a square into a cube using a vanishing point. -I can identify birds eye view, eye level, and bugs eye view. -I can transform shapes into 3D buildings using a vanishing point. -I can compose a landscape/cityscape that demonstrates depth: foreground, middleground, and background. -I can add details to a landscape/cityscape using a vanishing point correctly, most of the time. -I can revise artwork based on the feedback of others and self reflection. PROJECT OBJECTIVES: - I can create at least 3 building/structures that go to a vanishing point. - I can add details to each building/structure in my artwork. - I can additional details to my land/city. ex) trees, benches, signs, street lights, fence... - I can demonstrate good craftsmanship.
